We’re cancelling the Springtime edition of Here, Chicago with an eye on public health. While sharing a mic, sharing hugs, and sharing food is generally a healthy practice, it isn’t quite so during pandemic time. When we resume will depend upon when it is smart and safe to do so.
As you might imagine, we at Here, Chicago are not fans of social isolation, and see great value in continuing to strengthen community and connect with each other during this time of social distancing. Keep an eye out for an email from us with some creative ideas for connecting from a distance. :) We encourage you to stay in touch with your friends and communities in ways that are safe for you, for the people you love, and for their extended circles. In the choices we all make now, we are not just taking care of ourselves. We’re taking care of each other.
