What a wonderful night. If anyone ever asks me where I was during the Polar Express of 2014 (or whatever they’re calling it), I will say nestled in safe with 50 friends and strangers who braved snow drifts and icy roads and -30′ temperatures to be together on a night when EVERY OTHER SHOW in Chicago was cancelled! (Okay, every other show in the building… but what is storytelling if not for a little artistic license?) Sunday will be a day to remember for a lot of us, even if you couldn’t make Here’s the Story. Whether you were inside snuggling with a sweetheart or braving the elements for someone else’s benefit or valiantly diving for the last can of chicken broth in the Jewell, we roundly applaud your survival.
Come tell us stories about it next month on February 2nd! A day upon which the harmonic convergence of Groundhog Day and Wolfgang Stein‘s appearance as your Audience Favorite teller will take place. And just THINK how well on our way to Spring we will be then!
