Our Springtime Show is Cancelled
Posted on March 12, 2020We are cancelling the Springtime edition of Here, Chicago with an eye on public health. While sharing a mic, sharing hugs, and sharing food is generally a healthy practice, it isn't quite so during pandemic time. Read on for our plans to resume, and some ideas for connecting in the meantime. :) -

Posted on August 21, 2018Here Chicago is back to do the thing we do! Which is to unite a group of wonderful humans to listen and learn, delight in our similarities, and dig the differences. We are a regular platform for the cross-pollination of ideas, the building of unlikely alliances, and the heart-biggening joy of making unexpected friends. We feature known storytellers, solo performers, writers and comedians along side fascinating humans brand new to the stage. -

Posted on May 22, 2018Last night's show was a lovely and intimate thing. For some reason... maybe weather-related, or finals week-related, or some other mysterious rhythm-related... our usually packed-to-the-gills theater manifested instead as an intimate group of 60 people which, in the cavernous Thrust stage, felt like a cozy and close little cluster. Which was perfect. Because the things that people chose to bring and share last night were of a nature that I've rarely seen in public storytelling. -
