  • June 7th was a moving, unique and beautiful show. It held stories of crime, magic, institutionalization, accidental international espionage, prophecy and love. The tone was serious and somber at times... but underneath that surface was something pushing through, like life resolute, resillient and rising. Click for beautiful photographs, and for free audio of the night. 0

  • It was a wonderful night. Thanks to you who braved Chicago's first big summer storm to join us! Our May 3rd show sold out, and the downpour only kept a few of you away. Dinner was small but mighty, and included beautiful, healthy contributions like corn-crusted, pan-fried cream cheese-filled peppers, and garlic & olive oil roasted kale. The stories were just as hearty, and photos and audio are included here. 0

  • June's show was boldly revealing! Tellers recounted moments of exposure and vulnerability-- of the relational, physical, and elemental kind. It was also a night of firsts; first sex, first love, first time outside(!), first car, first intestinal emergency in a car, first personal ad, first time meeting a birth-mother. Themes emerge without us dictating them, and this theme of "firsts" was a sweet note for the first show under the new name. Join us on July 6th for true stories told live in a beautiful theater, in great company, over a gorgeous potluck dinner. Tickets to the right. 0
